Follow-Up email, automatic responder
Quick automatic responses to incoming mail are also considered to be a useful e-marketing tool. At the same time, banal automatic responses like "Your message has been received and we will contact you within 48 hours" no longer impress anyone. "Smart" automatic responders are now in fashion. Such automatic responders can get the main idea of a received message and correctly (and what is most important - instantly!) reply to it. In e-mail, follow-up is a sequence of automatic or manual responses to a message sent or received before. Suppose you send a message to one of your prospects. If he does not respond in, say, five days, it is useful to send him one more message, the so-called follow-up message. It has been noted that the percentage of new deals is considerably increased if you send two or three additional message to remind about yourself. Here is an example. Suppose your company is engaged in selling domestic appliances. It is sure to have its own e-shop where customers can order products online. But you should keep in mind that there are some customers that find it really necessary to make sure the shop actually exists and real people still work there. Such people very often call or write to the support service. These are people automatic e-mail responders should be configured for in the first place. There are several reasons for it:
Thus, you can make an important conclusion that using automatic responders and follow-up messages is a really important e-marketing tool allowing you to not only increase the number of your customers, but also increase an average income rate from one customer. |
